Jimmy Clausen is sporting a black eye today after apparently being punched at at bar at approximately 2 am early Sunday morning.  Clausen was at the bar in South Bend with his parents and girlfriend ESPN is reporting and he was suckerpunched by another patron.  Charlie Weis has been mum on the incident, but fans haven’t been.

“With the O line he’d have next year a black eye would be the very least of it.”

“Clausen did not fight back and left – talk about a microcosm of the Notre Dame season.”

“Whose parents go to the bar till 2 am on a Sunday night?”

“Parents that want to drink away the memory of sending their kid to Charlie Weis.”

“It’s simple. Clausen started something he couldn’t finish. It shouldn’t come as a big surprise, he does it every Saturday afternoon on the field as well.”

“Weis was not mum…his mouth was full of pizza.”
